Very, very nice Crafton Heights home. Tenants made it temporarily ugly, but this house is worth a lot of money: photos might make it look scary, however that’s strictly due to not-so-good occupants for ~5 years. Worst damage is a chunk of missing ceiling; needs re-drywalled.
In brief: structure is sound but dirty + has had many major updates in past decade (windows, furnace, H2O tank, kitchen, roof, bath, etc.); it mainly needs ultra-levels of cleaning and handywork. Otherwise it’s completely functional and worth nearly $100k more than you paid when made right/pretty again. Possible 5th bedroom & since half-bath needs revamped, you should easily add 2nd shower; so it’s like a pending 5BR/2BA w/built-in drawers & shelving, on a decent lot – private in rear.
Rental comps are very high over there, so that’s a nice Holiday Surprise.
